Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Washi paper stickers vs. PET stickers — how do I pick?
A: Think about where they’ll live. Washi stickers have a soft, papery matte finish and are easy to write on with pen. They’re perfect for journals, letters, and scrapbook pages because they blend in naturally. PET stickers are transparent plastic — waterproof, glossy, and tough enough for water bottles, phone cases, or laptops. The trade-off: washi is repositionable and usually removable, while PET has a stronger hold but might leave a trace if you peel it off later. I keep both: washi for my planner, PET for my laptop lid.
Q: Do the stickers leave residue when I peel them off?
A: It depends on the material and the surface. Washi stickers usually come off cleanly from paper and most smooth surfaces, especially if you peel slowly. PET stickers have a stronger adhesive, so removing them from a laptop or plastic case might leave a bit of residue that can be wiped away with a little rubbing alcohol. For delicate planner pages, I’d stick with washi if you think you might move them around.
Q: Are the stickers pre-cut, or do I need scissors?
A: Almost every pack we carry is kiss-cut, which means the sticker is cut through the top layer but stays on the backing sheet. You just peel and go — no scissors needed. Some decorative washi sheets come as a single uncut sheet, but they’re usually designed with easy tear guides. I’ll always mention in the product listing if a pack requires any cutting.
