Akashiya Sai Watercolor Brush Pen - 20 Color Set

SAI brushes are the first of their kind to create water-soluble brushes in a self-contained, disposable form. They combine the traditional Japanese sumi-e brush quality with modern brush functionality. By adjusting the amount of pressure applied, you can draw fine lines to bold strokes.

These Japanese fude-style brushes can create a beautiful range of shading and watercolor effects when blended with water. Simply wet the brush tip with water to thin out the ink or use it with a water brush to create natural contrast and gradation. Moreover, SAI brushes work wonderfully with pencils, water-resistant art markers or pens to color in the outlines for your cartoon, manga art, etc. Colors can be also combined with other colors on a palette to create your own new colors.
