Animal cafés, tiny jobs and everyday pages

BGM's foil flake stickers are the small, fuss-free pieces that make a journal page look finished without a lot of effort. This listing collects twelve separate packs from BGM's animal and café lines: cats running an atelier, puppies setting off to explore, hamsters working a bistro, rabbits playing in an orchestra, plus café and bakery scenes, Italian dishes, izakaya snacks and a set of morning-to-night tea and coffee motifs. Each pack holds forty-five die-cut pieces with gold or holographic foil accents that catch the light as the page turns.

Flake stickers are loose pieces, not a sheet, so you can lift one at a time with tweezers or a fingertip and drop it exactly where you want it. That makes them useful for the small gaps in a spread: the corner of a caption box, the edge of a diary entry, the space around a photo.

What is in each pack

  • Meow Atelier — cats running a tiny art studio, with paint tubes, canvases and brushes
  • Puppy Explorers — puppies exploring outdoors with maps, backpacks and a picnic
  • Hamster Bistro — hamsters serving soup, sandwiches and coffee in a little bistro
  • Rabbit Orchestra — rabbits playing violins, cellos and pianos in a miniature orchestra
  • Cat Café — cats pouring drinks and carrying trays in a café
  • Cat Bakery — cats baking bread, croissants and cakes
  • ITALINYA — Italian dishes with pasta, pizza and espresso, drawn small
  • Izakaya — Japanese bar snacks, beer mugs and simmered dishes, cat style
  • Good Morning — toast, coffee and a sunbeam for breakfast pages
  • Good Day — afternoon tea cups, cakes and cutlery for daily pages
  • Good Afternoon — coffee cups and pastries for a slower afternoon spread
  • Good Night — bedtime cocoa, lamps and quiet night motifs

Where these pieces work best

Flakes sit well on matte journal paper, kraft paper and cardstock, and they are the right size for bujo spreads, travel diaries and letters. Because they are small and separate, they are also handy for decorating gift tags, envelopes and the inside covers of a notebook, or for adding a few marks to a sticker collage without covering the whole page.

Good to know

  • The foil is a surface finish, so scrubbing with a wet cloth or pressing hard with a ballpoint will dull it. Write beside a flake rather than across it.
  • These are small pieces and are not a toy. Keep them away from children under three and from pets.
  • Each design is a separate pack. Choosing one design in the menu adds one pack of that design.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are sticker flakes?

A: Sticker flakes are small, individually die-cut pieces sold loose in a pack instead of on a backing sheet. There is no waste paper to peel, so you can pick up one motif at a time and place it exactly where you want it. Japanese makers such as BGM use the format for detailed illustrations that would be too small to punch out of a standard sticker sheet.

Q: How many pieces are in one pack?

A: Each pack contains forty-five pieces: fifteen motifs, each repeated three times. That is enough to use a favourite motif two or three times in a spread without running out of the illustration you like best.

Q: Are these stickers foil-stamped?

A: Yes. The pieces carry gold or holographic foil stamping on printed paper. Gold gives a warm, brushed-metal sheen; holographic shifts colour as the light changes. Both are surface finishes rather than metallic paper, so the effect comes from the foil rather than from the base sheet.

Q: What can I stick them on?

A: Matte journal paper, kraft paper, cardstock, envelopes, gift tags and the covers of notebooks all hold them well. They are also a common choice for scrapbook pages, planner dashboards and pen-pal letters. Very glossy or coated surfaces hold the adhesive less firmly, so test one piece first on unfamiliar paper.

Q: Can I write on top of them?

A: It is better not to. The foil surface resists ink, so ballpoint and gel pen lines can skip, and erasing will rub the foil. Write your note first, then place the flake beside it, or leave a small margin so the foil stays clean.

Q: Are all twelve designs the same foil finish?

A: No. The four Role-Play Animals packs are gold foil. In the Itadakimasu group, Cat Café, Cat Bakery and Izakaya are holographic and ITALINYA is gold. The morning-to-night packs use the finish shown on their packaging. Pick the design whose finish suits your page.
