The scale

The scale runs 0 to 15 cm with 1 mm marks, on one face. This is the standard Japanese school ruler layout, so it is metric only - there is no inch scale on the reverse.

What it is good for

Underlining in a planner, drawing a margin, trimming a strip of washi tape, checking a 15 cm cut. The clear body lets you see the line underneath, which is the reason to choose a clear ruler over a coloured one.

Care

Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth. Hot water and alcohol-based cleaners cloud the plastic and lift the print; keep the ruler out of a hot car for the same reason.
